If I wanted to build a new house and you were kind enough to supply me with a toolbox of the latest and greatest equipment, would I be fully set up for success? Not likely considering I have a hard time using a hammer without smashing my thumb. Even if I gave the project every best effort I had, I would not be able to build a credible house.
Owning the tools is not enough.
To be successful building anything, you first need to have a blueprint for what you’re building. Second, you need to select the best tools to get the job done. And third, you need to learn how to properly wield those tools for maximum effect.
It’s not about the tools.
It’s about what you are trying to build and how you build it.
